Bada Mahadev

Situated 10 km from Pachmarhi, this cave temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Bada Mahadev temple is the oldest temple of Pachmarhi. According to the stories here, Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini and ended Bhasmasura. This cave is about 60 meters long; water keeps dripping and collects in a pool. It is believed that taking a bath in this pool eliminates all your troubles and pains. 

Jata Shankar Caves

Situated 6 kilometers from Pachmarhi, it is a natural cave dedicated to Lord Shiva. A large Shivling made of natural form is also present here. According to the stories, this is the place where Lord Shiva hid himself to save himself from Bhasmasur. The rock of this cave looks like the hair of Lord Shiva.

Pandav Caves

Situated just 1 kilometer from Pachmarhi, it is a group of five small caves. According to the locals’ legends, these caves were built by the Pandavas. But according to Sanskrit texts, these caves were built by Buddhist monks in the first century. These are beautiful caves made naturally.

Chauragarh Temple

Located at an altitude of about 1300 meters above sea level, this place is counted as one of the highest places in Pachmarhi. Chauragarh temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and is a religious place of Pachmarhi. Every year, many devotees visit here on the day of Mahashivaratri, and Trishul is offered to Lord Shiva.

Duchess Waterfall

Situated 21 km from Pachmarhi, it is a beautiful waterfall consisting of three different streams. To reach its base, passengers have to trek 4 kilometers long. This waterfall falling from a height of about 100 meters is considered ideal for photography. Tourists can also take a bath in the pool here.

Rajendra Giri Sunset Point

Rajendra Giri Sunset Point is counted as one of the most beautiful places in Pachmarhi, offering tourists the magnificent landscape of Sunset. The place was named after the first President of India, Rajendra Prasad, who often came here. You can also see Ravishankar Bhavan here.

Bee Waterfall

Located 3 kilometers from Pachmarhi, it is the most beautiful and famous waterfall of Pachmarhi, which is also known as Jamuna Waterfall. A pool is also built below the waterfall where tourists can also enjoy bathing because of the natural landscape.

Handi Khoh

This is the deepest valley of Pachmarhi, whose depth is 300 feet. A clear sound of water flowing down this valley can be heard. It is said that Lord Shiva buried a demon snake here.
