It is around 85km from Bhubaneswar. This temple is situated on the top of a mountain. You will be able to reach this temple in 2 ways. Either you will drive 5km over the hill or climb 1352 stone steps. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

2) Nandankanan Zoological Park

It is a zoo as well as a Botanical garden, spread across an area of 1080 acres. This Zoo is home to about 160 species, including 67 species of mammals, 81 species of birds, and 18 species of reptiles.

This Zoo has many exotic species of animals. Some of them were declared as endangered, like white tiger, Indian Peruvian, Asiatic lions, and many more.

There are many facilities inside this Zoo like Safaris, boating, Toy train, Mono cable ropeway, and reptile park. It became the first Zoo in India to join the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums in 2009.

3) Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves

These caves are ancient, built during the 1st century. These two caves are located on the top of the hills. Earlier, these caves were called Kattaka caves or Cuttack caves. 

A total of 117 caves were built here, but now only 33 shelters are left. Out of these 33 caves,15 caves are in Khandagiri, and 18 caves are in Udayagiri.

The caves formed here are partly natural and partly artificial.

These caves used to be the dwelling places for Jane. Ranigumpha and Hathigumpha caves are the most famous caves among these 33 caves.

7) Bindu Sagar Lake

Odisha’s people call it Bindu Sagar Sarovar. It is the 2nd largest Sarovar of Odisha. This Sarovar length is 1300 feet, and the width is 750 feet. You can take a bath here.

Temples surround the Sarovar. On the North, it has Lingaraj temple, On the East, it has Anata Vasudev temple, On the west, it has Kedar Gauri Temple, and on the South, it has Mohini temple and also there is a small temple in the middle of this Sarovar.
