ミラノの壮大な歴史は、ヴィスコンティ家を抜きには語れません。 13世紀初頭に台頭した一族は、約200年にわたりイタリアのファッションとデザインの都を支配した。 その名は今日もなお、著名な映画監督ルキノ・ヴィスコンティやジュエリーデザイナー、オザンナ・ヴィスコンティ・ディ・モドローネによって広まり、尊敬を集めている。 個性的でドラマチックな作品で知られるオザンナの創造性は、美しい装飾品だけにとどまりません。 オザンナと夫（ギャラリストのジャンガレーゾ・ヴィスコンティ）、娘のマディナ（同じジュエリーデザイナー）が住むアパートは、16世紀のルネッサンス様式の落ち着いた外観で、その中にある宝物をほとんど見せてくれません。 フレスコ画が描かれたオリジナルの天井や、時の流れを感じさせる壁は、この家の豊かな遺産に敬意を表しています。一方、オザンナ自身が収集したモダンアートや家具、そして1950年代や60年代の著名なイタリア人デザイナーの主要作品の記念すべきコレクションは、この場所の控えめなエレガンスを引き立てるものとなっています
